MoSAIC has been set up to share good practice with educators, learners, and anyone with an interest in interdisciplinary collaboration. The art-science divide has become increasingly evident in the schools that we have worked at. We have also seen the benefit firsthand of allowing students to have a space whereby they can learn science through the arts whilst working with colleagues from many different disciplines. We now have a bank of resources that we would like to share with more pupils online and in person, helping schools to instil awe and wonder into students’ learning. We will be offering our in person sessions across the UK, starting in the south-west.

Our main mission is to help reduce the disadvantage gap in S.T.E.A.M subjects (science, technology, engineering, arts and maths). We aim to do this by providing STEAM learning resources for free online as well as providing workshops for schools. These workshops will be equitably priced to ensure that we can offer our services to as many pupils as possible. They will allow students to experience interdisciplinary learning with an initial focus on using artificial intelligence safely. You can view our current offering of workshops by clicking the link below. These workshops are currently in the beta testing phase, if you work in a school and would like to be part of this trial phase, please visit the enquiry page also through the link below and receive our workshops for as little as the cost of a supply teacher for the day.

We will be looking to expand in Spring 2023 by launching a free virtual museum designed using artificial intelligence to inspire everybody to look beyond the art-science divide. Join us on this exciting journey by following us on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter for free educational resources, ideas and inspiration. Our blog posts will also be sharing articles and think pieces to inspire you. We are keen to make these as accessible as possible and will therefore always share the reading age, estimated reading time and intended audience at the start of each blog post so that you can get the most of your MoSAIC experience.
